charger_status.short_circuit_status set to SHORT_CIRCUIT_DETECTED?charger_status.short_circuit_status set to SHORT_CIRCUIT_DETECTED?actual_current and lz_zip_charge_voltage spike right as we detect a short circuit? Typically you will see a current spike 5-10A in the actual_current.Context: During docking, the Dock applies voltage before the Zip's charge switch turns on. This lets the Dock safely check for short circuits before current flows into the Zip. If all looks good, the Zip then enables charging. In the case of a short circuit, the Dock applies voltage → current spikes to 5–10 A → Dock stops charging and raises an alarm. Normally, current should stay near zero until the Zip enables its charge switch.
actual_current. This is NOT a hardware failure and usually will not show up constantly.Keep the charger in service by restarting the charger service, shown here: Restart Dock Charger Service. If the same fault shows up 5 times consecutively, create a work order to replace the charger. Assign the appropriate template for the Dock version:
