    Refresh Smart Cart Tools

    [Refresh smart cart tools](Refresh smart cart tools) so that the browser interface gets the latest updates. Smart carts must be plugged in and online in order to receive updates but the browser interface often doesn’t get a refresh unless restarted so that there is no interference with any running tests. Test software releases happen regularly on a bi-weekly to monthly cadence and these updates – along with system configuration management – push to these smart carts every 4 hours.

    To refresh the smart cart:

    1. SSH into the smart cart (SSH into Smart Cart).
    2. Run the following command to refresh and restart the hardware test framework, which is the software system that runs all of the smart cart tests:
      • sudo systemctl restart zipline-htf
